<image:title>Meet the Team - Sabrina Founder, Yoga Instructor, & Retreat Leader</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi everyone! I’ll be your group leader for our adventure retreats! I’ve always felt most at home outdoors. Whether rock climbing, snowboarding, camping, or swimming in lakes and oceans. Nature has long been where I reset, connect, and feel most alive. Since 2018, I’ve been building and leading community through Lady Crush Crew, a women’s rock climbing collective centered around outdoor meetups, connection, and shared experience. Through this work, I’ve helped organize and lead bouldering trips in places like Joshua Tree National Park and Stoney Point Park in Chatsworth, CA. Creating space for people to come together in nature and share meaningful outdoor experiences is what continues to inspire me most. I’m looking forward to sharing time in the outdoors with you!</image:caption>

<image:title>Meet the Team - Alex Yoga Instructor & Retreat Leader</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi, I’m Alex. I’m a yoga instructor, climber, and outdoor advocate with a deep commitment to movement, nature, and community. I’ve been practicing yoga and meditation for over a decade, and in 2020 I chose to become a certified instructor to share the practice more intentionally with others. My relationship with yoga deepened significantly in 2017 after being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition. During that time, the practice became a grounding force that supported both my physical and emotional healing, and ultimately inspired me to expand into new experiences in the outdoors, including rock climbing. That path led me to become an ambassador for Lady Crush Crew, where I’ve been able to help support a community built around connection, confidence, and time spent outside. Today, I’m also involved in conservation and outdoor education initiatives that support land stewardship and help create safe, welcoming spaces for people of all experience levels to explore the outdoors. I’m passionate about creating environments where people feel supported to move, grow, and reconnect with themselves through nature and practice.</image:caption>

<image:title>Meet the Team - Shae Retreat Assistant & Lady Crush Crew Ambassador</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi, I’m Shae! I’m a climber based in Los Angeles, working professionally as an archaeologist, with most of my free time spent outdoors. I’ve been climbing for over 16 years, and it remains a constant thread in my life, something that continues to challenge, inspire, and connect me to community. Alongside climbing, I’m often surfing (with varying success), skiing, or hiking whenever I can, and I also work with nonprofit organizations focused on environmental stewardship, conservation, and creating more responsible access to outdoor spaces through events and community initiatives. What I love most is sharing time outside with others and helping people feel at home in the outdoors, wherever they are in their journey. I’m excited to share the experience with you this fall!</image:caption>

<image:title>Meet the Team - Sabrina Photographer & Videographer</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi everyone! I’m Sabrina, an adventure and lifestyle photographer and videographer focused on capturing movement, connection, and life in the outdoors. I’ve had a camera in my hand for nearly 10 years, and it naturally became part of my time outside, documenting the moments that feel most alive, especially the candid in-between moments of adventure. I’ve been climbing for about 6 years, and my work has grown through collaborations with local affinity groups in Los Angeles, highlighting underrepresented communities in climbing and helping more people feel seen and welcomed in outdoor spaces. When I’m not shooting, I’m usually outside climbing, hiking, camping, or simply taking in quiet moments in nature. I’m excited to help capture your experience and the energy of our time together on retreat.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Sue has been climbing for over 25 years, beginning her journey in Eldorado Canyon, Colorado. Since then, she has climbed extensively around the world, including Africa, Asia, Nepal, Europe, and throughout North America, developing a deep foundation in both rock and alpine environments. Her guiding experience spans some of the most iconic climbing regions in the United States, including Yosemite, Tuolumne, the Tetons, the Wind River Range, Joshua Tree, and the Shawangunks. In addition to rock climbing, she is experienced in mountaineering and ice climbing. Sue has worked with Yosemite Search and Rescue and the American Alpine Club, bringing a strong background in safety, leadership, and education to her guiding work. Before fully dedicating herself to guiding, she held leadership roles in the corporate technology sector, including Director of Technology at GMAC and Vice President of Consulting for TIE Commerce in Amsterdam. After taking a leave to help build a school in Nepal, she transitioned fully into the outdoor industry and later took over Uprising Adventure Guides, where she now guides and leads full time. She is an AMGA Certified Top Rope Site Manager and has completed the Rock Instructor Course, and has spent much of her career teaching others how to climb with confidence and care.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - The Woman Behind Wildside</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi, I’m Sabrina! I’ve always felt most at home outdoors - climbing, snowboarding, camping, or surfing. That relationship with nature has shaped how I move through the world and how I create. I’m the Founder of Lady Crush Crew, a women’s climbing community rooted in connection, movement, and time spent outside. My relationship with climbing began in 2013 and became a consistent practice in 2017, grounding me in presence, discipline, and growth. Wildside Retreats began in 2021 as a quiet idea that evolved through collaboration with guides, instructors, and creatives who believe in the transformative power of time in nature and shared experience. Before this, I spent a decade in fashion merchandising. I eventually stepped away to build Wildside Retreats full time and bring my dream to life. In 2025, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali and now teach across climbing gyms and hot yoga studios in Southern California, blending strength, mindfulness, and embodied practice. Wildside Retreats is for women drawn to expansion, adventure, and meaningful connection. We create intentional experiences in nature where you can move freely, reconnect deeply, and return home more grounded, open, and alive. Your wild side is calling.</image:caption>

<image:title>Book a Retreat - “Awesome retreat!!! I absolutely LOVED the retreat. It was my first experience climbing outdoors and it could not have been better. I felt very safe, whereas the other two times I’ve climbed outside since, I felt much more anxious. Thank you for the awesome time.”</image:title>

<image:title>Book a Retreat - “Sabrina did such a good job planning and executing this event. The rock climbing guides were AMAZING. I'd trust my life to them any day. I really liked the climbing focused learning: anchor building, rappelling, etc., was great to learn from experts. The accommodations blew me away and the food was so, so delicious.”</image:title>

<image:title>Book a Retreat - “I’ve been curious about using climbing to cross train for races and this was definitively the most kick ass way to try it out. Despite being one of the only inexperienced climbers in the group, everyone went out of their way to answer my questions, give me pointers, and cheer me on. I left with my tank filled to the brim, a ton of new bad ass friends, and a whole other hobby to dive into. So incredibly grateful for this.”</image:title>

<image:title>Book a Retreat - “I have so much to share about my recent camping trip in California. This one is solely to serve appreciation to these special bad ass females in the trip. You all rock and it was such an inspiration to listen to your stories and journey in climbing. Thank you, Sabrina P., for hosting the perfect retreat where female climbers from all levels can openly explore their wild side! Thank you Uprising Adventure Guides for leading all our routes and teaching us the secrets in J Tree! Thank you, Sabrina C., for capturing all the moments in this trip!”</image:title>
